Association of Pedestrian and Bicycle Professionals
APBP is a leading group that sets active transportation recommendations and guidelines that are regularly encouraged and required by federal and local governments nationwide. “APBP members work at all levels of government, in manufacturing, and as consultants, advocates, researchers, and students in a wide range of disciplines: transportation planning and engineering, urban design, landscape architecture, public health, active living, and Safe Routes to School.”
PeopleForBikes acts as a coalition addressing all areas of cycling, including political work, community grants, fundraisers, conducting relevant research, education, and providing bicycles and places to ride. They are dedicated to increasing safe and convenient riding for communities everywhere.

CALBIKE plans on tripling the amount of cycling in California by 2020, using advocacy and communities to encourage political change, funding, and infrastructure to support bicyclists throughout the state.
